The Virgin Mary and Hera flew their spaceship into Quad 8 which was a hidden sky fortress. From there they could view Whitehead and Baretown. The horrible destruction they witnessed through their monitors down below was heartbreaking: the destroyed buildings, the fires that continued to rage, the black billowing smoke, and hearing the caged souls screaming in agony. Though on some level they already knew, still, to witness the misery of the souls who had been caged was enough to make even the Virgin Mary swear like a sailor.
Almost even more troubling than the suffering they saw below, they also saw the enemy army that they faced. They knew the battle before them would be a hard and painful fight. Still, the Virgin Mary and Hera began dressing in their fighting gear. They coded their weapon locker for easy and quick access.
Billy Bingo and Mayor Hollis Bare flew their spaceship up next to the V-Ship. They interlocked the ships and boarded the V-Ship.
Billy smiled. “I thought my favorite bitches might need some help.”
Hera grinned. VM rolled her eyes but then nodded. VM said, “It is going to be a fight and our victory is not certain. This may be the end of me.”
Billy said, “Ah, it is going to be a breeze. You don’t have anything to worry about.” Billy added with a teasing laugh, “Nothing to worry about but that hippy son of yours.”
Hera laughed. “I love you to pieces but you are the worst liar in the world. We have everything to worry about.”
Mayor Hollis Bare said, “We need Victor. We need Iapetus.”
Billy transformed himself into an adult. In the transformation he became a very muscular adult man. And he put on his war gear. He coded his weapon locker for quick access. Billy said, “As we defeat them we have to bring them to our side. We don’t need to destroy the army down below. We need this army down below to be on our side.”
VM said, “You seriously think you can convert them.”
Though dressed in armor and ready for war, Billy said, “We’ve got to stay hidden right now but at the same we have got to start creating visions in the sky.”
Jesus and Zeus flew their spaceship on top on the V-Ship. They interlocked and came on board the V-Ship.
Zeus said, “Mary, you should have told me that you are planning something.”
Hera said, “This is my idea and I did not want you to talk us out of it.”
Jesus said, “I figured you were behind it.” Jesus looked at Billy. “What is he doing?”
Mayor Hollis Bare said, “He is setting things up to create visions in the sky. He wants to convert the soldiers to our side. And by the way, I am humbled and blessed to be in the company of such great gods.”
Jesus smiled. “You are worthy.”
Billy said, “The first vision in the sky should be Jesus on the cross. And then we need crosses coming up out of the ground. And they need to be real and not just a vision. Do you think we can manage that? I have plotted out the positioning for our magic.”
Hera looked at what Billy was talking about. She said, “Okay! Cool idea. I think I can work that. One of my favorite fantasies is watching Hercules as Jesus be crucified over and over again.”
Jesus snarled. “Yeah. Anyways.” Jesus studied what Billy had done. “I am certain that I can materialize 1,000 crosses to begin coming up out of the ground.”
Billy screamed with glee, “Oh fantastic. Sabian Blackrock is actually on the ground down there. He will be the first one I will put on the cross. He is a screamer. And he is a cry baby. He, himself, will scare the soldiers. And I will so enjoy torturing him.”
Mayor Hollis Bare stared at Billy. “Remind me not to ever piss you off.”
Billy laughed, “Let us get it going. We are going to have some fun today.”
Lucifer flew is spaceship up. He docked it at the rear of the V-Ship. He came on board. Lucifer and Zeus stared at each other like they were about to start fighting. But they didn’t fight.
Lucifer asked, “I talked to dad. He wants me to work with you all. So what is our plan.”
Billy explained and Lucifer said, “Hades could not have come up with a better plan himself. We will get them good and scared before the battle even begins”
Billy said, “Now remember. We want them to come over to our side.”
King Arthur pulled his ship up with around 1,000 men on board. He beamed himself aboard the V-Ship. “Leroy Bare called Merlin up and Merlin told me to get my ass here. I can’t believe the assholes did this Whitehead and Baretown.”
Billy asked, “Where is Leroy?”
“He is on the ground with the Wilcox Family.”
“Does he have a plan?”
“He and his Wilcox crew have begun freeing people from the cages. He saw some holes in the enemy lines where he could sneak in and he wanted to take advantage of the lapse while it still existed so he could free as many souls as possible before the battle begins.”
Billy explained what their plan was.
King Arthur nodded. “So we don’t want to cage them separately but route them into a Church Camp.”
“Right.”
“And what if it becomes obvious this group of souls are too aligned with the enemy leadership to change sides?”
Lucifer said, “I have a prison for them that Satan and Belial can not gain control over. Only Amelia herself could hand it to them.”
King Arthur nodded. He didn’t want to show awe at being in the company of such great gods but still when he saw Zeus and Jesus and realized they were there, he fell to his knees. “Please know that I am humbled to be before you and my allegiance is always with you.”
King Arthur kissed the hands of Zeus, Jesus, and the Virgin Mary. “We will win this war.”
Zeus smiled. “Rise my good man. With your great and honorable ways, we will win this battle.”
Hera touched King Arthur on the face as he rose. They looked into each others eyes. Hera said, “How is Merlin doing?”
“He is still working on the plan, but so far, he has not gotten any results.”
“Sometimes I wonder if Amelia is really sleeping or if she has left these worlds.”
Zeus stared at Hera. He spoke. “Yeah, left this world not knowing she was leaving this world in the hands of such unworthy gods as we.”
Billy said, “Maybe if we prove that we are worthy, then she will wake and we will again be one with the greatest God of all.” Billy took a swig of his beer. “Of course in the meantime we are going to have some fun today and kick some ass and show who is boss. This will be a day that Sabian Blackrock remembers.”
