INT: DUDDLEY HOME, VICTORS BEDROOM - DAY

Victor is removing the glock handgun from the bedstand next

he is wearing. He puts gun in pants pocket.  He exits his
bedroom.

INT: VICTOR DUDDLEY'S MUSTANG CAR - DAY (BACK TO PRESENT)

VICTOR DUDDLEY continues to drive. Then he glances over to
the passenger seat. The ghostly image of his alter
personality VICTOR GEORGE is sitting there.

                      VICTOR GEORGE DUDDLEY
          Victor, what are you doing?

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
          Apparently having a nervous
          breakdown.

                      VICTOR GEORGE DUDDLEY
You must not think back to that
day.  Don't try to remember.  Just
leave what happened to the past.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
Mark was there.  Why was Mark
          there?

                      VICTOR GEORGE DUDDLEY
I told you, stop trying to
          remember.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
          I hate him so much.

                      VICTOR GEORGE DUDDLEY
You don't hate Mark or as he calls
          himself now, Steed.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
I want him to stay the hell away
from Judy.  He did not tell us who
          he is.

                      VICTOR GEORGE DUDDLEY
          He loves you.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
Even the more reason he should stay
          the hell away from Judy.

                      VICTOR GEORGE DUDDLEY
You never had sex with Mark.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
          Let me remember what happened.

                      VICTOR GEORGE DUDDLEY
No.  I will not let you remember.
I will tell you that Judy and Mark
are two consenting adults and you
          are being an ass.

Victor slams on brakes as a squirrel runs across the road.
Focus on foot hitting brakes.  Focus on squirrel running
back and forth and then out of the road.  Focus on Victor
with his eyes closed.  Then he opens his eyes.  He looks
over at the passenger seat. Victor George is no longer
there.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
Why do I hurt?  I am physically
hurting.  And I feel so much anger.
          Why?

Victor pulls the glock from his pocket.  He looks at it.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
Is the only way I can stop the
          pain, is to kill myself?

                      VICTOR GEORGE DUDDLEY (O.S.)
Stop being stupid.  The pain will
end when you stop trying to
          remember.  Also, for your
information, I am horny. Let us go
to a bar and see if we can meet
          someone.

EXT: HEARTHVILLE GARAGE - DAY

STEED RAMSEY drives to the parking in the back of the
garage.  The parking area is surrounded by trees.  Near the
garage is a dumpster.  Steed parks near the dumpster.  He
gets out of his truck and sees Trudy Jackson getting out of
another truck.

                      TRUDY JACKSON
My truck is still breaking down on
          me.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          Sorry.

                      TRUDY JACKSON
Either get my truck to working
right or give me a refund.

                      STEED RAMSEY
I fix one problem and another
          problem develops, the garage does
not allow refunds. If I work on
your truck any more, it is going to
          cost you.

Trudy's daughter, SARAH KELLY, pulls up.

                      TRUDY JACKSON
He wants to charge me more money to
          work on my truck.

                      SARAH KELLY
                (screams out the open
                 window of her truck)
Fix my mom's truck.  You have
          already been paid enough.

Trudy opens the door to her daughter's truck.  She crawls
into the tuck.  They drive off.

Steed Ramsey's phone rings.  He answers phone.  It is his
mom RACHEL RAMSEY.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          Hey mom.  How is everything?

                      RACHEL RAMSEY (O.S)
I had a fight with Jossette.  She
hates me because of my breaking her
          and Victor up.

Steed, changes phone from one ear to the other ear.  He
scratches his.  He turns around.  He looks up toward the
sky.

                      STEED RAMSEY
Mom, I am sure Jossette loves you.
          Maybe you were dreaming.

                      RACHEL RAMSEY (O.S)
          Dreaming?  Maybe.  But it seemed
          real.

                      STEED RAMSEY
Mom, I love you. We all love you.
          Please know that.

                      RACHEL RAMSEY (O.S)
And I love you.  Someone just came
in.  I will talk to you later.
          Bye.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          Bye.

Steed disconnects.  He holds the phone up to his head.  The
phone rings again. He looks to see the name JUDY DUDDLEY  as
the caller.  He answerws and puts the phone to his ear.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          Hey Judy.

                      JUDY DUDDLEY
Hey.  Look.  I've been thinking.  I
do not want to go out tonight.
          Maybe some other time.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          When?

                      JUDY DUDDLEY
          I don't know.  I am rethinking
          things.

                      STEED RAMSEY
Judy.  Please do not break up with
          me.

                      JUDY DUDDLEY
          I just need time.  Bye.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          Bye.

Steed falls back against his truck.  He slides the phone
into his pocket.

EXT: ROAD, VICTOR'S CAR STOPPED - DAY

A horn blows, blows, blows.  VICTOR DUDDLEY turns around to
see the car of SELBY JAMES right at his bumper.  Selby gets
out of his car and walks up to Victor's window.  Victor
pushed the button to let his window down.  It makes a noise.

                      SELBY JAMES
That is kind of fancy.  Not part of
          the mustang's original equipment.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
          What?

                      SELBY JAMES
          The electronic window.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
          Yeah.  Wasn't planning on selling
to a collector so I got funky with
          it.

                      SELBY JAMES
          Yeah. Sure.  Are you okay?

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
          Yeah.  Sure.  Why?

                      SELBY JAMES
Because you are parked here in the
          middle of the road.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
I stopped for a squirrel to avoid
          running over it.

                      SELBY JAMES
You should have run over it.  I
like the feel of the squirrel
          beneath my tire.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
          You are so evil.

                      SELBY JAMES
You call me evil.  I know what you
did to Rachel Ramsey, and now that
          was evil.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
What?  I did not do anything to
          her.

                      SELBY JAMES
Sure.  That is your story and you
should stick to it, but I know
better.  I know what you did.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
          What?  Tell me.

                      SELBY JAMES
          You know.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
          I don't know.  I also don't know
what Sally ever saw in you.

                      SELBY JAMES
I suck pussy really good.  I am
also a pretty good cock sucker if
          you are ever interested.

                      VICTOR DUDDLEY
          I am not interested.

Victor hits the foot pedal and drives off, leaving Selby
James standing in the road. Selby pulls out his cellphone as
he walks back to his car.  He opens the car door and gets
into his car.  He closes the car door and scrolls his phone
to the name BUZ HALN. He presses the name and the phone icon
pops up.  He presses the phone icon to make a call.

                      SELBY JAMES
Yo Buz.  Did you have any trouble
          getting into Rachel's room.

                      BUZ HALN
No, but that Wade dude saw me
again.  He gave me the look.  You
know, he does not use me to supply
him drugs to sell any more.

                      SELBY JAMES
Well, you dumb fuck, you made three
          of his clients sick, including
Victor Duddley.  If you had done
that to me I probably would have
          shot you between the eyes.

                      BUZ HALN
It was not my fault.  It was that
damn Chinese connection I was using
          without knowing it.

                      SELBY JAMES
Yeah, yeah, yeah.  So do you think
Wade is going to be a problem.

                      BUZ HALN
No.  He does not know shit.  Plus
he is afraid of me.  When he sees
me, he walks the other way.

EXT: PARKING LOT, HEARTHVILLE GARAGE - DAY

WADE ESSY pulls into the parking lot up behind STEED
RAMSEY's truck.  Steed Ramsey is seated on the tailgate of
the truck with a soda drink to his side and his laptop
computer in his lap. He is looking at the schematics of a
truck's wiring.  Wade gets out os his truck and walks up to
Steed.

                      WADE ESSY
Hey man, I'd been meaning to talk
to you about something and then I
told myself it was nothing.  But I
          think you should be told.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          What?

                      WADE ESSY
Mom and I visit the Hearthville
          Mental hospital to see Dorothy
Mixby.  Her room is not far from
your mom's room.  Here is the
thing.  I saw a known drug dealer,
Buz Haln, coming out of your mom's
          room.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          Crap.  Thanks for telling me.

                      WADE ESSY
In case you ask around, besides
hustling sex, I also sometimes deal
drugs.  But I would not do that.  I
would not sell stuff to any of the
          patients at the hospital.

                      STEED RAMSEY
Okay.  I know your background. I
          appreciate you informing on Buz
          Haln.

                      WADE ESSY
          Informing!
                (sceams)
          Informing!!
                (voice calms)
I am trying to help you and your
mom.  Mostly your mom.  I don't
          squeal on people.

                      STEED RAMSEY
                (nods)
I am sorry.  Wrong word.  I am
stupid.  Of course I know you are
not an informant.  And I do thank
you for giving me a heads up that
my mom may be buying drugs from Buz
          Haln.

                      WADE ESSY
Well, you are welcome. I guess I
          should be going.

                      STEED RAMSEY
Before you go, so you know Bert
          Mixby pretty well.

                      WADE ESSY
Yeah, and his mom, Dorothy.  Why?

                      STEED RAMSEY
He was telling me something about
          Selmedox Inc. and Medocseltech Inc.
          taking money out of Dorothy's
          accounts through some bogus
          subscriptions.  Do you think that
is drug related?  Does Dorothy do
          drugs?

                      WADE ESSY
I don't know about now but in the
          past, hell yeah.

                      STEED RAMSEY
I talked to my aunt and dad  about
those two companies but they did
not notice them in any of my mom's
billings.  Mom would have to be
          paying for the drugss somehow.

                      WADE ESSY
I don't know. Buz Haln has
          connections and his dealings are
not always low level.  I once used
him as a supplier until some of my
customers got sick.  I mean really
sick.  So I don't like the dude.
And to be honest I am a little
          afraid of him.

                      STEED RAMSEY
So he could have access to do
          billing through offshore companies?

                      WADE ESSY
Yeah or his connections would have
          that ability.

                      STEED RAMSEY
Dad and I are trying to stay the
hell out of illegal shit.  But if I
have to have Buz Haln roughed up,
          then I will.

                      WADE ESSY
You be careful. Tiffany told me
that she once saw Buz coming out of
what she is pretty sure is a North
          Korean safehouse.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          North Korean safehouse?

                      WADE ESSY
There are some people in the CIA
          who provide North Korean criminals
          cover.  Local police are not
allowed to raid it or anything.
The FBI is not allowed to touch
          them.  It is weird.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          Why the protection?

                      WADE ESSY
I don't know. Well. I've got to be
going.  Tiffany is going to be all
pissy if I have to call her again
to let her know that I am still
          running late.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          Well, again, thanks.

                      WADE ESSY
          Welcome.

Wade gets into his truck and drives off.

EXT: VIEW FROM SKY OF VICTOR DRIVING - DAY

Victor Duddley turns and goes down a sandy dirt road.  He
then turns again and drives to where there is a gate to an
old mansion.  The iron gates are off their hinges and laying
off to the side in tall weeds.  Victor drives beyond the
wall.  The driveway circles in front of the old mansion that
is known as Hazel Manor.  Victor stops in front of the
mansion.

EXT: ON THE PORCH OF HAZEL MANOR - DAY

Victor Duddley pulls some keys from the pocket of his green
army style pants. He searches through the keys and puts all
but one keyring back into his pocket. He sticks a key in the
lock to one of two large doors.  He unlocks the door and
both doors open.

INT: HAZEL MANOR, LIVING ROOM - DAY

Victor enters the mansion and closes the doors behind him.
He flips a lock on the doors.  Victor Duddley flips a light
switch next to the doors.  A large chandelier lights up
above a large room that has no furniture in it. Victor walks
over to the mantel piece above a fireplace.  There is a
portrait of an elderly man hanging above the mantel.  On the
mantel is a music box. Victor opens the music box and music
begins to play.  As the music plays Victor begins to
transform to look exactly like the portait of the elderly
man.  Victor touches a secret button beneath the mantel and
a bookcase next to the fireplace opens to a secret  room.
Victor enters the room and the bookcase closes behind him.

INT: HEARTHVILLE MENTAL HOSPITAL, RACHEL RAMSEY'S ROO - DAY

STEED RAMSEY is opening and closing drawers.  He is
searching his mom's room for drugs. RACHEL RAMSEY  is laying
in her bed.  At times she is staring off into space.  At
other times she raises up to watch her son.

Steed Ramsey opens a drawer in a dresser.  There is a
picture in the drawer.  He pulls the picture from the
drawer.  He looks at the picture.  The picture is of the
elderly man that Victor has transformed into.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          Mom, who is this?

Steed Ramsey walks from the dresser to his mom's bed. He
shows her the picture.

                      RACHEL RAMSEY
                (she looks at the picture
                 in Steed's hand and then
                 she pushes his hand
                 away.)
Barnabus Hazel.  If you put the
picture back in the drawer and
close the drawer and then open the
          drawer and see what happens.

Steed walks back to the dresser.  He puts picture back into
the drawer of the dresser.  He closes the drawer.  He then
opens the drawer.  The picture is gone.

                      STEED RAMSEY
What the fuck?  How is that
          possible?

                      RACHEL RAMSEY
The picture is the product of
          witchcraft.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          I don't understand.

                      RACHEL RAMSEY
          There is nothing to understand.
          The appearance of the picture
          simply means that Barnabus Hazel
will be visiting me in the near
          future.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          Who is he to you?

                      RACHEL RAMSEY
A friend.  An enemy. We love each
          other.  We hate each other.

                      STEED RAMSEY
I would like to meet him.

                      RACHEL RAMSEY
If he comes to visit me, I will
          mention that to him.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          He is really a witch?

                      RACHEL RAMSEY
Yes. But dear. So are you.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          I am not.

                      RACHEL RAMSEY
You once knew.  But then the
Witches Council did their thing and
          erased certain things from your
          memory.  They may erase this
          conversation from your memory.

                      STEED RAMSEY
I can not perform any magic.

                      RACHEL RAMSEY
          But you have tried.

                      STEED RAMSEY
          I tried.

                      RACHEL RAMSEY
          Keep trying.

INT: HAZEL MANOR, SECRET ROOM - DAY

Victor, now transformed into BARNABUS HAZEL is seated on a
stool  at a counter where there are seven monitors and a
couple of keyboards and computer mice.  He takes a drink of
beer and hits the escape key on the keyboard that is at his
fingertips. The monitors light up.  On one of the monitors
is a map of spaceships crossing the skies.  On another
monitor is a picture of an empty conference room. On another
monitor is the picture of a giant yellow envelope folder
like one might find in a file cabinet. On the folder there
is writing as though it has been written on by a black magic
marker. The writing on the  envelope reads, "Witch Council
Minutes." Barnabus takes hold of a mouse and moves the
pointing arrow on the monitor to the folder. He clicks on
the folder.  The folder appears to burst into flames.  In
its place are rows of pictures scrowling across the screen.
Two pictures begins to dominate the screen as they replace
the other pictures.  One of the pictures is of young Billy
Bingo.  The other picture is of the Legman, aka Iapetus.

Barnabus stands up from the stool.  He stretches.  It shakes
his head.

                      BARNABUS HAZEL
Bette, why was the Witches Council
          meeting about Billy Bingo and
          Iapetus?

A older woman, BETTE RAMSEY (who is also Jossette Ogleby)
appears in the room. She kisses Barnabus on the lips and
then she backs away.

                      BETTE RAMSEY
          The Witches Council has demanded
that Iapetus stay away from his
spawn Billy Bingo.  They have gone
so far as to threaten to kill and
cage Billy Bingo if Iapetus does
not agree to their demand.  Word is
a member on the board plans to have
Billy Bingo killed no matter what
          Iapetus agrees.

                      BARNABUS HAZEL
          And cage him?

                      BETTE RAMSEY
No.  Not from what I have heard.
But my source would not even tell
          me which council member.

Barnabus walks over to a jewelry case.  He opens the
backside of the case and removes a ring.  He and Bette look
at the ring.

                      BETTE RAMSEY
          What are you planning?

                      BARNABUS HAZEL
Billy Bingo has powers that are his
own.  They have just been locked.

                      BETTE RAMSEY
He has not been trained.  Well.
          Not this life anyway.

                      BARNABUS HAZEL
Remember when Billy Bingo was born
          as Henry McCarty.

                      BETTE RAMSEY
          William H. Bonney. Henry Antrim.
Kid Antrim. But mostly  AKA Billy
the Kid. The then Wiches Council
had him killed on his 21st
          birthday.

                      BARNABUS HAZEL
Exactly.  And this was Billy the
          Kid's ring.  I think I shall give
this ring certain powers.  And I
will make sure that Billy Bingo is
          given this ring.

                      BETTE RAMSEY
And will the ring give him the
power to shapeshift into Billy the
Kid and his various alters from
          that period.

                      BARNABUS HAZEL
          Most certainly.

                      BETTE RAMSEY
          Cool.
