Hearthville Serial: Book 6 – Chapter 6

Excerpt:

Tiffany asks, “So … I am sorry, what is your name.”

“Leslie McApple.”

“So do you know Arthur Ramsey well?”

“Heavens no. I belong to an animal right’s group that wants to either reform or shut down an experimental lab owned by ‘Loving Care.’ Selby James who chairs our group worked out a deal with Arthur Ramsey to put me on the board if our group, ‘Beast of Burden’ would agree to stop staging protest. I’ve never met Arthur Ramsey.”

Wade asks, “So why did Selby James want you on the board and not try to put himself on the board?”

Leslie says, “I already work for ‘Loving Care.’ I am over the custodial department of the Hearthville Hospital.”

Bryan says, “I did not know that. So my wife wants you to give her a contract. That is what the sex was about.”

“No. She never asked me for special treatment. And I would never give her special treatment. As a matter of fact I may recuse myself of making the final decision on that contract.”

Hearthville Serial: Book 6 – Chapter 5

Excerpt:

“He says he knows us but there is no reason for us to know him.”

“I see. He is a stalker. You invited a stalker to live with you.”

Wade asks Bryan, “Are you a stalker?”

“No. I was a detective before I lost my license.”

Wade tells Tiffany, “He was paid to stalk people.”

“Cool. So who paid him to stalk us?”

Bryan can hear what Tiffany is saying and answers, “A wife had me following her husband who was fucking the two of you.”

Hearthville Serial: Book 6 – Chapter 4

Excerpt:

The Legman and Alice Malokey sit in her office in Atlanta.

The Legman asks, “What the hell is going on? Where did this Covid-666 come from and why didn’t the Witches Council try to stop it?”

“It came from China. It was a bio-terror attack but we have not been able to figure out who is behind it. We know the lab where it originated. We know some of those who were working with the virus. But we don’t know who all got into the lab and gained access to the virus. The virus was supposed to be neutral and not deadly. The object of the study was to try to create a virus that would create herd immunity to hiv. Someone took the neutral virus and weaponized the virus but we are not sure who did it.”

“Have you all used magic to try to neutralize it?”

“Yes but with only minor success. And it weakened itself. At ground zero it was extremely deadly but by killing the host so quickly, that mutation did not spread very far because there was no surviving host to spread it. That is the reason some in China jumped to the wrong conclusion that it was being spread by animal to human contact. They figured the human was dying and therefore there had to be some animal that was surviving and spreading the disease. Then they realized there were weakened mutations of the virus spreading the disease.”

Hearthville Serial: Book 6 – Chapter 3

Excerpt:

Wade Essy sat in the passenger seat as his mom, Hope Essy, drove them home from Church this Sunday. Wade was a hustler. He could be a tough act. Most people would not guess he went to church with his mom most Sundays. He’d had some day. When the police–none of whom he knew in this small town of Hearthville–came into the church threatening to fine all of them and to put knives in their tires, he’d slugged one them. He intentionally breathed on another one. Then he lifted his leg like he was going to fart in the direction of one of them. He was pissed. He was living a tough life and going to church with his mom was the one thing that helped keep him sane. Not that he was too sane. Before the police had arrived he had gotten into an argument with the Preacher Biscue over whether Hades and Hell were the same place or not.

Hearthville Serial: Book 6 – Chapter 2

Excerpt:

Victor wakes up in a hotel room. He looks over to see Deven, naked and on top of the sheets, in the other bed. He sees Leroy, fully dressed, in the bathroom and shaving. “Yo Deven, wake up and cover your naked ass.”

Deven opens his eyes. He looks over at Victor. “Man, I can’t believe we came all the way to Las Vegas just to discover that Vegas is closed.”

Victor vaguely remembers Deven, Leroy, and himself on a plane flying to Vegas and then checking into the Hotel. “Closed. What the hell are you talking about. A city can’t be closed. Maybe a small town. I guess. But an entire freaking city.”

Leroy says, “Yeah, we really should have been watching the news. It seems the entire planet is in a pandemic. Something called Covid-666. You had already gone to bed when I started making calls and trying to book some shows and stuff.”

Victor, nude, crawls out of bed. Leroy and Deven stare at Victor’s cock.

Leroy points and laughs. “I’ve seen some big cocks in my time but I am pretty sure if there were a contest you would win.”
