Captain Crayon had a reputation as something of a scoundrel. He was a scraggly looking fellow. He had an extra large nose that had been broken more than once in various incarnations and that broken nose had become part of his astral identity. Generally he had curly blond hair of median length though sometimes he had a crewcut and sometimes he had short brown hair. His eyes were sometimes green and sometimes blue. When being born he was not partial to any of the Houses/Realms on the other side and such souls are less likely to have their identity appearance set. Still, those familiar with Captain Crayon knew him on sight no matter what appearance he took on. And they knew he was a mess.

Of late Captain Crayon had taken up with a sidekick that was none other than the witch Rasputin. All but one of the Houses/Realms would not accept Rasputin for they blamed him for the hell that Russia suffered after the Romanov royal family were murdered by the Bolsheviks.

Nicholas and Alix did not reject Rasputin from their House/Realm but the other members of the realm made his staying there difficult. So he left for the outlands. Iapetus took him him into the Second Iapetus Realm but when he was found organizing a group incarnation to try to restore the royal family to Russia, Iapetus turned him out. It was not that Iapetus opposed the idea but he doubted the idea would work and such a plan would only cause the souls involved more grief.

So Rasputin happened onto Captain Crayon who was trying to start a realm of his own from an old pirate ship that was something of a mystery. There was a rumor that Iapetus had secretly created the pirate ship for Captain Crayon and to gather the trouble makers that Iapetus wanted to help but did not want stirring up trouble in his realm.

Besides the huge pirate ship, Captain Crayon had a spaceship that looked like a submarine. He and Rasputin were flying it around when they spotted the spaceship of Madison Grant.

On seeing the spaceship Captain Crayon said, “Be trouble brewing that such a witch would illegally enter the outlands. Or maybe the ship is in distress. Should we dare claim the vessel?”

Rasputin stared at his friend. “Claim the vessel. There are people on that vessel and that vessel is armed. I don’t want to end this day in a cage.”

“That you say, I take advised. I shall call out to the spaceship and offer help. Wink. Wink.”

“Mighty God, my friend learn the ways of God. Offer help and without any winking. It would be good to befriend the Witches Council and Madison Grant might take kindly to you being kindly.”

“As you were kind to Alexandra and where did that get you?”

“It got me to outlands to be your best friend and where we can plot our sinister plans together, but with Madison Grant’s ship, I tell you that we must not be sinister.”

“We will see.” Captain Crayon got on the radio, “Calling the Madison Grant and warning that you be illegally in the outlands.”

Victor Duddley called back, “Listen wisely you old heretic, I am flying this ship to Iapetus and stay the fuck out of my way.”

Captain Crayon screamed, “You son of a bitch. That rude talk will get a missile up your ass.”

Victor laughed. “Captain Crayon, have fun because I am now in control of your ship and you are in for a roller coaster ride.”

Suddenly the submarine spaceship was on tracks in the other worldly sky and going for a roller coaster ride that was one hell of a ride. Captain Crayon threw up. With crap spewing from his nasty mouth he screamed, “Victor, you son a bitch, you will pay for this.”

Raputin laughed with glee, “Oh my, this is fun. Hell, this roller coaster ride is almost better than sex. I am so pleasured I may have an orgasm. Thank you Victor Duddley.”

Victor Duddley screamed with pleasure, “Rasputin, you old devil, what are you doing hanging out with Captain Crayon?”

“Captain Crayon is not so bad. He makes a nice sidekick.”

Captain Crayon protested. “I think we have established that you are my sidekick.”

Madison Grant told Victor, “Stop this roller coaster shit. You are bringing attention to us.”

Preacher Pat watched as other spaceships began to ride the roller coaster rail. “I think they like it.”

Donny Maxtone grinned. “Who doesn’t like a roller coast ride?”

Captain Crayon screamed, “I don’t. Please stop this now.”

Inside of the Madison Grant spaceship, Madison Grant stared at Victor. “You are a devil. Aren’t you.”

“Well, if I was God, I think the way to heaven would be a roller coaster ride.”

Preacher Pat said, “With all the ups and down in life, isn’t it? Isn’t the way to heaven a roller coaster ride?”

Victor winked.

Madison Grant cocked her head. “You are a direct spawn of God so…”

Victor pinched Madison Grant on the ass. “I am Amelia’s disappointment. Don’t make more of me than I am.”

Madison stared at Victor and thought about Napoleon. He might could rescue Napoleon. But Sabian Blackrock had convinced her father that Victor, who could send Belial himself to hell, was just too damn dangerous. Madison had argued with her father that Sabian was more dangerous to them than Victor, but then she had given in. She had agreed to a plan to get rid of Victor’s higher self. Madison touched Victor on the face and she fought back the tears she felt like crying. Sabian had agreed to free Napoleon if they would go along with the plan, but she knew Sabian was a liar and could not be trusted. But her father. He was so wishful that Napoleon would be freed by Sabian. Now there she was about to become an enemy of a man, probably a good man, but a man with the power to send Belial himself to hell.

Madison said, “You are a man who sent Belial himself to hell. I think you are man who could free Napoleon. Would you free Napoleon.”

“That is a job for Dude Righteous. You and your father should show him more respect.”

Madison said, “Please. Tell me that you will free Napoleon. I beg that you tell me that.”

Victor said, “Is it not enough that I tell you he will be freed? In time you will again have your true love in your arms and the things you two will do. The tribes will learn quickly enough they should never have hidden the truth of my brother and corrupted his words with half truths and lies that the gullible and the foolish have chosen to believe. He is so much more than what humanity knows. Make sure Napoleon understands that and does not become corrupted by the lies of the tribes.”

Victor turned to Preacher Pat. “You preached the lies of the tribes this last life you had on earth. But you know the truth of my brother. Make sure that Napoleon knows the truth.”

“But Victor, I know nothing. I am just a confused mess. If I preached lies before how will I know that I will not preach lies again?”

“The truth will come to you in bits and pieces from others and eventually you will remember it all. Always keep those bits and pieces in your mind for they will be the key that will open all the memory to you. You will know it all.”

Madison realized that Victor was not saying that he would be there to help Preacher Pat. Victor was not saying that he, himself, would be there to tell Napoleon what Victor called the truth. She wondered in thought, “Does he know? Why would he allow me to do my evil? God. Victor. Please stop me.” But her thoughts were silent.
