On one of the monitors General Roxy saw Victor. She saw him produce the hologram of her from memory and she knew who he was in that past life. It caused her joy to see him there at the first Gate to Iapetus from Pluto Viso. She spoke to herself, “It is fitting that he who is now Victor might be my knight in shinning armour if only that were to be. Could it be? Is God about to shine grace upon me?”
Then on another monitor she saw Belial. She heard Belial. And his words stung. “Now is our chance to cage that son of a bitch, Amelia’s spawn. I want him caged. I want him to suffer.”
General Roxy felt like crying. There was nothing she could do to help Victor. She figured Belial would win and Victor would be caged. “He will be like me. God damn, he will be like me where there is no hope. I want hope. I need hope. I don’t want to be in this cage. I want to be free. I want to be with other people. Please God. I beg you. Please help Victor to escape Belial. Help him to find this cage and free me. Please. Please. Please. I beg.”

[passster password=”456sayata”]The Legman looked at Pam Bridgeright. He asked, “Have you heard any whispers that Uranus has awakened and has become self-aware?”
“Well, my butt hole has felt…”
“Not funny.”
“Well, you didn’t let me finish. But yeah, probably not funny. Anyway, I haven’t heard anything and neither has my butt hole. But even if he were awake, isn’t he locked in the original Iapetus.”
“He can’t be locked anywhere. There is no realm where he can be locked up. There is no cage that can hold him. There is only the sleep that can subdue him. God, it would be wonderful if he is awake.”
“What about Cronus?”
“He is caged and he is asleep. But he is here in Hades.”
“Does it bother you that most souls in this world think they are in God’s world and do not realize they are in Lucifer’s Hades?”
“Sometimes but it is the way it should be. There are some like Alice Malokey who fully understand this world. But it is good that the majority of the Space Alien Witches do not have a clue they are in Hades and that God’s world is safe from them. What truly bothers me is that we are in a world with so many morally ambivalent and even evil souls.”
“Does General Gorgan understand this world?”
“No. He thinks that he and Belial conquered the Pluto Viso that is part of God’s world as if God would ever have allowed that.”
“I long to leave Hades and return to Iapetus, the real Iapetus. Do you think God will ever allow that to happen?”
“Maybe. It would be wonderful to be in charge of my own world again. I think I have learned things. I think I would be a better god.”
“You weren’t so bad.”
“I am as deserving of this place as all of the other souls here. I could have been better. I should have been better. If I am ever given the chance again, I will be better. And if Uranus has awakened from his sleep, I will stand at his side.”
“Well. Don’t forget that Uranus can be a total asshole.”
The Legman gave Pam a look.
Pam smiled. Then she said, “You know there are good souls here. They just made mistakes. They had moments of weakness. They were influenced by bad souls. Even as I try to lift myself up to be deserving of another chance in God’s world I am glad you are giving me a chance to try to help lift them up as well.”
“But you know, once our mark is on them, it doesn’t make things easier for them. They might never enter heaven. Iapetus might be the only hope for them and that is locked even from me. Except for Uranus no one, including me, can get through all seven of the gates.”
***
Victor looked at the gate that continued to swing open and shut. The noise had stopped. Victor looked around at the others. “So how do we get back home?”
Nanny Ogleby said, “Well, we could be like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.” Nanny Ogleby laughed. “We just need to find those magic slippers.”
Leroy nodded. “This is definitely a weird enough realm for the comparison. The bear. The hawks. The owl. The horse.”
Constance said, “I guess but that is first gate to Iapetus. The question is, is that the first gate from the Planet Earth side or from the Pluto Viso side. And if we are on the Pluto Viso side then we are so fucked.”
Leroy asked, “But how could we be on earth one minute and Pluto Viso the next minute. That doesn’t make any sense.”
George felt strange. Victor felt strange. Neither said anything. Victor looked around at his surroundings. He had a sense of deja vu. He imagined a group of people standing at the gate and the wall. The people looked like something out of a Robin Hood movie in which tights were worn. The image faded from Victor’s mind.
Constance said, “A black hole. A vortex. I don’t know. Maybe it was some kind of magic that brought us here. But we have to face the possibility that we are in a realm that is part of Pluto Viso.”
Victor imagined that he was seated at a rustic wooden table with a beautiful, powerful woman. Their arms crossed as they drank a strong liquor from their silver goblets. The woman laughed. Then the woman whispered in Victor’s ear. “What is the real identity of Amelia? Who is she? She must be a god.”
Victor shook his head as the image faded.
Deven asked, “Victor, what do you think?”
“I don’t know what to think. I feel as though I have been here before, though that does not make sense. I imagined there was a festival here at the gates but that must just be my imagination. The people were dressed in tights and I drank from a silver goblet. I have never drank from a goblet in my life.”
Dioson said, “You may be remembering something from a past life.”
Victor and Nanny Ogleby stood up from the ground. Victor looked at the stone that read “Pluto Viso.” Victor again imagined the beautiful woman. She looked like the woman who played Wonder Woman in the 1970’s television series. She looked like Lynda Carter. Victor remembered asking her, her name and she answered that she was General Roxy.” Victor whispered, “You betrayed General Amelia. You have sided with Belial.”
Everyone heard Victor’s whisper as from his memory he created a hologram of General Roxy. They could all see hologram and they could hear her speak.
Deven asked, “What is happening?”
Leroy hugged on Deven. “Do not be afraid? Victor is remembering something and it is being projected into a hologram. She isn’t real.”
Constance said, “Oh, she is real. She is just not here.”
General Roxy said, “I do not want Pluto Viso destroyed.”
Victor said, “Then General Roxy, side with Sam and Amelia.”
“Belial will do right by us. He will create utopia. People will live like Kings and Queens under Belial. He will provide for all. Make Amelia understand. Belial is not a bad man.”
Victor said, “General Roxy, you are a fool.”
General Roxy punched Victor in the jaw and then the stomach. She kicked him in the crotch and he fell to the ground. She put her sword to his throat.
Constance screamed, “Wake from the memory Victor. You don’t want to remember that. Don’t. Please don’t.”
Leroy saw the terror in his mom’s eyes. He quickly grabbed Victor up from the ground and gave Victor a wet, juicy kiss in the mouth. Victor screamed, “What the hell. Man don’t kiss me.”
Deven said, “He was waking you from a memory.” Deven asked Constance, “Was General Roxy about to kill Victor?”
“I don’t know but if she did, he did not need to remember that. Death memories from past lives are not good.”
Nanny Ogleby said, “That was weird. So who was Victor in that past life that General Roxy might attack him that way.”
Constance said, “We know Victor is an important soul. We know that. He knew General Amelia.”
***
General Roxy sat in her cage which was nice enough. In the center was a large queen sized bed. Around the walls were monitors where she could spy on the souls she might want to spy on but she could communicate with no one. On the monitors she could watch pretty much any broadcast station on Earth and Pluto Viso that she might want to watch. There was no one in the cage with her and so there was no one with whom she could communicate.
