Abstract in the moment of love

My heart flutters like the feathers of a dove

But then it stills to the colors of art that I don’t understand

Do others see the menace of the doodles at her hand

She confuses me with insults and compliments and words between

When I look at porn at least I know what I have seen

But with her will her poses lead to sweet love making

Or will she kill me as my body is there for her taking

I think I would rather look at porn than risk falling in love

For I don’t like when my heart flutters like the feathers of a dove
