The latest eBook I have been writing is now 70,000 words. Unfortunately for reasons I will not go into, I am not happy with it and it is going to require some major changes. So my plan to publish longer books has hit a snag. Because I seriously need to get more eBooks published on Amazon, I am planning to take the material from my latest eBook and write novellas to add to the series “Fighting The Damned.”
The first “Fighting the Damned” eBook is set in the 1800s. This next “Fighting the Damned” ebook is set in the modern era. I had always planned on having the series to take place both in the 1800s and the 2000s so that is not that big of a deal. I had intended the next eBook in the series to be the “Murder at the Art Gallery” story and this eBook will connect the dots back to that coming eBook but will not be that eBook. So that is kind of problematic but I don’t think hugely so. Just know that the eBook is still planned and I have started writing it.
I would like to start publishing 2 new eBooks a month but I do not know for sure if I can meet that goal. Obviously I want the stories to be entertaining and with as few of errors as possible.
I just wanted to let people know the status of my writing.
Because of my idea of writing longer eBooks I managed to go all of last year without publishig anything new and obviously as an indie writer that is not good. By necessity I am going to have to stick to short stories and novellas.
