Front Page – 3rd Edition
So pewdiepie did a tweet, making a joke about raiding the Vatican. I guess it was a joke playing off the raid of area 51. So I posted the meme below and in the tweet itself I said, “The Pope is demanding pewdiepie be stopped playing Minecraft” or something like that and with a smile after it to let people know I was joking. On Twitter, users now have the ability to hide replies to tweets in the thread. pewdiepie’s people hid my tweet and my response was to delete the tweet and then to block pewdiepie. I then unsubscribed from him on youtube.
In the past, those of us who support free speech rushed to his defense. We did not want him harmed or suppressed.
Now understand, on twitter when a person blocks, mutes, hides someone then that figures into how Twitter judges the account that has been blocked, muted, or a reply hidden. It all figures in how Twitter’s AI decides how many impressions they should give a tweet or if that user should be totally suppressed. And the more important an account is that does the activity, the greater the harm they can do to other accounts. Also realize that twitter shares its data with google/youtube so the harm done on twitter crosses platforms.
Because of politics and my attempted humor, I’ve been hit by more than just a few hate bots both on twitter and youtube. My youtube channel now gets almost no views, not that it was ever that popular anyway.
Now, when the pewdiepie controversy first started many of us old timers realized that pewdiepie is NOT what he seems to be. But it was a free speech issue and that is what we wanted to stand up for. When we looked at the data we realized part of his traffic is bot traffic operated by someone. To whether he is part of or understands or knows about, who knows. You look at that entire group of creators who hang together, their success is totally suspect. Yes, they have fans. Part of their success is totally real. Also, the perception of success in itself can build success because people are birds who like to flock together no matter how shitty the eating in the field is.
So part of their success is real and based on fundamentals and a lot of hard work. But part of their success is total bullshit. With many of them it is hard to say what is the real traffic and what is the bot traffic, but when you see a total shit video with millions of views you have to consider two things:
1, Wow, youtube has a lot of people who are jerking off to crap videos.
or
2. A sizeable part of those views are bots that youtube either can’t detect or doesn’t want to detect because youtube is making money off those bots.
I am not speaking of pewdiepie but people who use bots in general. The job of those bots is to not just build a channel up but to tear other competing channels down. So anyway, after his people hid my reply tweet and either intentionally or unintentionally aimed to do harm to me, I blocked the son of a bitch. (error corrected, I have no idea why that previously said video)
If you are a fan of pewdiepie, cool. I am not trying to hurt him. I am just explaining the situation of why I blocked him. Anytime I discover anyone is doing shit to hurt me, they get blocked and/or unsubscribed. I don’t care who the fuck they are.
And yes, I do realize that part of my problem has nothing to do with other people but that I simply have a giant L on my forehead and my content may not be as good as it needs to be.

Jared Padalecki to play Chuck Norris, well not exactly
Supernatural is coming to an end. I know. That is sad. But I am sure the reruns will be around somewhere and there is always DVD, if not streaming.
So what is Jared Padalecki going to do? Is he going to lounge around in his boxers, eating an apple, watching some news outlet and then doing random tweets to troll someone? No.
He already has a new acting gig lined up. There is a reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger planned with interest from both CBS and the CW which carried Supernatural for 15 years.
According to one source:
In a very CBS way, the reboot will “explore morality, family, and rediscovering our lost common ground,” and the noble Cordell Walker will be a “broken widower and father of two” with his “own moral code to fight for what’s right, regardless of the rules.”
Cordell Walker will also have a love interest. No. Sorry. The part probably will not be played by Jensen Ackles but it would be cool if they could bring him to the project. I haven’t seen any speculation to who will be playing Cordell’s female partner.
Anna Fricke is attached to write and executive produce the new series with Dan Lin also executive producing. Fricke, who is currently under an overall deal at CBS TV Studios, previously co-created the Syfy series “Being Human” with her previous credits also including shows like “Wayward Pines” and “Valor.” So yeah, she is no slouch and the project most likely has legs.
What does the 79 year old Chuck Norris think of the project? I don’t know. But I would be shocked if he doesn’t wish Jared Padalecki well in the role.

Suddenly, in the grass, Daniel saw five snakes coming in his direction. “Son of a bitch.” Daniel reached for his revolver that was holstered beneath his white, loose fitting, shirt. As he pulled the revolver from the holster it snagged on his shirt and fell from his hand. The revolver fell to the ground as a snake crawled over its gray barrel and toward one of Daniel’s red sneakers. Daniel quickly jumped back from the slithering snakes but still they came in his direction. One of the predatory vermin appeared to lead the way. “Fucking hell, the snakes are chasing me.” Daniel ran but the snakes were fast. “This is unreal. This can’t be real.”
Billy transformed into the Legman. He ran toward Daniel. Reaching Daniel, he grabbed Daniel up into his arms. He quickly carried Daniel away from the snakes and sat Daniel down on the ground.

The storm clouds whirled but at times the sun could be seen. A chase had ended and a battle between two men was about to begin.
George reached to grab Dioson’s muscular hand that with thick fingers held his leg. George screamed, “You space alien monster, let go of my leg.”
Dioson pulled George downward as Dioson climbed upward to press himself down on George. “You call me a Monster!” Dioson slapped George across his face. “You filthy human! There is no way I am letting you go. I’ve got you just where I want you.”

Nat unfastened the jug from his belt and sat it down. He then slumped down to his stomach on a bolder with his head positioned where he could see down in the ravine, but not well. He used his binoculars but there was so much growth he could not see what was going on below. He crawled, easing farther off the rock beneath him, as he attempted to see beyond a clump of bushes below. He used his feet to catch on a deep crack in the rock to balance himself. But his curiosity caused him to ease too far and he began to slide. Attempting to grab and grip the bolder so as to stop from sliding he knocked the jug off the bolder and down into the ravine.

Chapter 4
In the woods on the Bare Estate, there was mischief about.
Fourteen year old Nat Wilkins sat high up in an oak tree in a large deer stand that rested fastened to a giant limb. With a mostly empty brown jug of moonshine in one hand and a cigar in the other, he aimed his hunting rifle around, looking through the scope. A pair of binoculars hung around his neck that included a camera. He eased the hunting rifle down for a moment. He put his cigar down into an ashtray made of an old melted vinyl record, bent up to have sides, and painted gold. He held on to the brown jug as he again held his weapon up and looked through the scope.
First Time in a Decade the Fed Has to Inject Cash to keep interest rates at target
The Federal Reserve took action in financial markets for a second day on 9/18/2019 in another attempt to keep interest rates from moving higher. It marked the first time the central bank has taken such steps since the global financial crisis 10 years ago. And if you are trying to figure out what was going on when that happened. Think back to 2007 and 2008. Yeah.
This from 2007:
The US Federal Reserve injected $38 billion dollars into the economy via temporary open market operations this Friday. This is the largest number of temporary repurchase agreements (specifically, one business day repos) entered into by the Fed since September 11, 2001. Back in 2001, Fed purchases of treasuries exceeded $30 billion for the four consecutive days after the collapse of the World Trade Towers, total temporary injections into the banking system amounting to a whopping $295 billion.

The New York Federal Reserve said on Wednesday that it would inject $75 billion into the market through another overnight repurchase agreement, or repo, aimed at keeping the federal funds rate within its target range of 2% to 2.25%.
Cash available to banks for their short-term funding needs all but dried up on Monday and Tuesday, and interest rates in U.S. money markets shot up to as high as 10% for some overnight loans, more than four times the Fed’s rate.
The exact cause of the turmoil is unclear, but market participants believe a confluence of events conspired to cause the crunch. One, corporations withdrew funds from money market accounts to cover quarterly tax bills, and on the same day banks and investors who had purchased $78 billion in weekly U.S. Treasury notes had to settle those trades.
Another contributing factor is that the Fed’s efforts to shrink its portfolio means bank reserves parked at the central bank overnight, which can be made available to other banks if needed, are at their lowest level since 2011. This factor in causing the liquidity crisis is probably the most troubling in that it goes to the heart of the idea that the Federal Reserve may not know what the hell it is doing. Or worse, they may know exactly what they are doing, and they are experimenting on how they can temporarily tank the economy at election time to help get a Totalitarian (anti-constitutional) Democrat elected to office to the benefit of Red China and the certain US Oligarchs who owe a large part of their fortunes to business deals with Red China.
Even as the FED had to deal with a liquidity crisis, which may or may not portend something greater happening in the economy, the FED announced that it is cutting interest rates by another quarter point. The action was approved on a 7-3 vote, with two officials wanting to keep rates unchanged and one arguing for a bigger half-point cut. It was the largest number of Fed dissents in three years.

Clouds had begun to darken the sky as George pulled his orange mustang through the columned gates of the Bare Family Cemetery. He looked around the grand, ornamental monuments to the deceased members and loved ones of the Bare family. He remembered how he had stood silently in the back of a large crowd of people as they had laid Donny Maxtone to rest.
