T. Boone Pickens calls for bipartisan panel to screen candidates for president

Please do not misunderstand when I talk about Vatican Operatives.  It is not a code word for Catholic.  Many social Catholics have as many issues with the Vatican as I do.  And some Vatican Operatives are not Catholic.

I have no idea what religion T. Boone Pickens is.  I have no idea whether he is a Vatican Operative or  has a Vatican Operative whispering in his ear. But T. Boone Pickens suggestion that a bipartisan panel should determine who can run for president is truly a Vatican wet dream.

Article:  http://www.politico.com/story/2015/12/t-boone-pickens-screen-presidential-candidates-217043#ixzz3uzSkQC4N

The idea that the Vatican could put together a group of people like Paul Ryan, John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi, Samuel Alito, Anthony Kennedy, John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Sonia Sotomayor, and Clarence Thomas to decide who can and can’t run for President would help the Vatican finish its take over of the United States.  Understand the Vatican, which has entrenched their operatives in power within the United States, do not really believe in Democracy.  They hate many of the constitutional protections afforded the American people such as free speech and freedom of religion.  Many social Catholics end up leaving the Catholic Church once in the United States, as they find other churches that better reflect their interest and beliefs.  Vatican Operatives across the globe are doing their best to slip in new laws against “heresy” and giving churches greater power to strong arm their members.

The Vatican would like to still be able to maintain the Feudal Lords, their Nobles, and their anointed Kings and Queens in power.  They would love to have full, permanent control of the US Federal Reserve so they could totally decide the winners and losers in the US economy; maybe even in the world economy.

So how stupid does T. Boone Pickens have to be to even suggest that a small group of people should screen who can and can’t run for President?  Perhaps stupid is too strong of a word.  The man is hardly stupid.  But he is misguided.

Understand that both political parties have a delegate system which by a change in party rules could be used to decide the party nominee and not necessarily directly follow the will of the voters.  But those delegates would be elected and there would be no way in hell that some group like the Vatican could use those delegates to appoint who they want as President.  The voters would still have the larger voice  in who runs for President because they elect the delegates and the Vatican can’t appoint the delegates.

The United States has an electoral college.  If the states decide that the voters are being overly influenced by the media and by too much big money in the electoral process they can move away from the “winner take all” delegate system.  The delegates could be given more say in who becomes President.  That isn’t likely to happen because the states want the election to be decided quickly.  They do not want to have to wait weeks while a truly free electoral college decides who is President.  And also pretty much everyone but Vatican Operatives believe in a truly free election to be decided by the will of the people.  Still, if you think voters can’t be trusted to decide who should be President, the electoral college is there for that purpose.  And again, it can’t be controlled by some group like Vatican Operatives.  The delegates are decided by the people.

So when someone suggest something so evil–even if comes from being misguided–as to have a group decide who can and can’t run for President, they seriously need to be told to fuck off.  It needs to be made clear to the Vatican Operatives, “There is no way in fucking hell that you are going to be given that power.”

Faraday Future To Build One Billion Dollar Electric Car Factory

See 11/28/2019 update at the bottom of this article.

The startup, Faraday Future, has around 400 employees.  It has hired executive talent from Tesla.

It was originally incorporated in California in May 2014 as LeTV ENV Inc., according to papers filed with the California Secretary of State. The address in Beijing is associated with Letv, a holding company founded by Chinese tech pioneer Jia Yueting.

Its current name, Faraday Future, takes its name from scientist Michael Faraday.  Michael Faraday was born  September 22, 1791 and died August 25, 1867.  He was born in Newington Butts, England.  Faraday was largely self educated.  Most schools in 18th Century England were run by the Church. True education was accomplished through apprenticeships.  At fourteen he became the apprentice to George Riebau, a local bookbinder and bookseller on Blandford Street in London. Unlike many people in England during this period, he had access to many books and became very well read.   BOOKS THEN, BOOKS/INTERNET NOW, ARE THE PATH TO TRUE LEARNING!!!

At the end of his apprenticeship he attended lectures and met English chemist Humphry Davy of the Royal Institution and Royal Society, and John Tatum, founder of the City Philosophical Society. Faraday was not considered a gentleman. When Davy set out on a long tour of the continent in 1813–15, his valet did not wish to go. Instead, Faraday went as Davy’s scientific assistant, and was asked to act as Davy’s valet until a replacement could be found in Paris. Faraday was forced to fill the role of valet as well as assistant throughout the trip. Davy’s wife, Jane, refused to treat Faraday as an equal and treating him as a servant made Faraday so miserable that he considered returning to England alone and giving up science. The trip did, however, give him access to the scientific elite of Europe and exposed him to a host of interesting ideas from various conversations.

Faraday is best known for his work regarding electricity and magnetism though he was also influential in chemistry.  He was one of the most influential scientists in history. It was by his research on the magnetic field around a conductor carrying a direct current that Faraday established the basis for the concept of the electromagnetic field in physics. Faraday also established that magnetism could affect rays of light and that there was an underlying relationship between the two.   He also discovered the principle of electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism, and the laws of electrolysis. His inventions of electromagnetic rotary devices formed the foundation of electric motor technology, and it was largely due to his efforts that electricity became practical for use in technology.

So anyway….

Back to the billion dollar factory.  California, Georgia, Louisiana and Nevada are finalists for the factory.  Though Yueting is believed to be the primary force behind this new venture, the identities of the players in this startup are unknown.

Update 11/22/2019:
Faraday Future is now known for its money troubles, if it is known at all. Talented hires — from SpaceX, Tesla, Apple, and Ford — have mostly left the company to try to make their fortunes elsewhere. The $2 billion it spent to develop a luxury SUV never got off the drawing board. The vehicle is still not in production. The company’s problems are partly thanks to the company’s founder and former CEO Jia Yueting. He reportedly ran from China in 2017 to escape billions of dollars of debt, only to declare bankruptcy in the US.

I guess the moral of this story is that investors should always be aware and weary of shadowy companies attempting to make a big splash. At one point, it is said that some investors actually believed Faraday Future was a front for Apple and that Apple was about to get into the self-driving car market.

Pinterest Update Adds Virtual Search Tool For Scanning Images

Pinterest Update Adds Virtual Search Tool For Scanning Images, Without Words

Pinterest is now helping to find words to describe a picture that has interested you. The online photo-sharing startup updated its system with a search tool allowing users to scan for related photos with parts of other photos, without typing words in a search bar.

Pinterest’s update follows in the company’s desire not to be Facebook or Twitter. It wants to define itself as a catalog of ideas. For example if you find a picture with a cool decorating idea, then you can use that idea in your office or home.

The visual search tool lets you zoom in on a specific object in a Pin’s image and discover visually similar objects, colors, patterns and more. For example, see a lamp in a Pin of a living room that you’re interested in? Tap the search tool in the corner of a Pin, drag the zoom tool over the lamp and scroll down for visually similar Pins,” says Andrew Zhai, a software engineer in the visual discovery team of Pinterest.

The visual search of Pinterest will help users on their picture centric site. It should be noted that other companies such as Facebook, Google and Snapchat offer a similar feature to their users. And in some cases how the feature can be used, such as on Facebook, is rather creepy. [opinion]

Pinterest has around 100 million active users; with a large percent of those users being women.

I wonder if any adult dating sites use the technology. Can you imagine people trying to find dates who have features in the breasts or dick or butt department to match their former lover. LOL

Russian media mogul found dead in upscale D.C. hotel

Russian media mogul found dead in upscale D.C. hotel

Mikhail Lesin, a former aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin who helped found the English-language news service Russia Today (RT), was found dead in an upscale Washington hotel room, police and Russian officials said. He was 57.

Although there was no evidence of foul play–reported as a heart attack– homicide detectives were investigating Lesin’s death, police said Saturday. Beverly Fields, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner’s office, said the cause and manner of death remained undetermined on Saturday.

Lesin served as Russian press minister from 1999 to 2004 and presidential media adviser from 2004 to 2009, RT said. He then became a senior executive at Gazprom-Media, Russia’s largest media holding company.

In 1984, he graduated from the Engineering and Construction Institute.  He worked for five years at Minpromstroya aka The Ministry of Industrial Construction of the USSR.

His daughter Catherine ran RT in the USA for awhile.  Current status??  His son Anton is a Hollywood film producer with credits including Rage (originally Tokarev), Haunt, Sabotage, Fading Gigolo, Fury, Rock the Kasbah, The Family Fang, and Dirty Grandpa.  Anton and Sasha Shapiro (male) operate QED Holdings and are principal financiers of the global media fund, Media Content Capital (McC), and formed Covert Media.
