The Secret City

The Secret City

Wiley Jones had not worked for the Naked Detective Agency long when the beautiful Ms. Majestic came into his life but ever so briefly. He practically fell off the donut in his chair when he saw her breeze past the fan, her long golden hair blowing, her bright yellow eyes glistening like sunshine, and her knobby knees hammering together like construction workers having gay sex. He sighed such a deep passionate sigh when she sensually tripped and fell head first into his cubicle.

Ms. Majestic stood from the floor and pulled her skirt from the crack of her ass. She demurely smiled and batted her eye lashes as Wiley picked up a fly swatter. Ms. Majestic sat down in the squeaky chair next to Wiley’s desk. Ms. Majestic took mental note of an empty glass on Wiley’s desk. She cleared her throat. Her words. She spoke. They would change Wiley’s life. “I know about the Secret City. I fear for my life.”

Wiley took the fly swatter and was about to kill a fly on his desk when Ms. Majestic picked up the glass and captured the fly beneath the glass. Wiley asked, “What Secret City”

“The one that reaches from beneath Memphis Tennessee to Columbus Georgia.”

Wiley stood up and walked around to sit on his desk. Ms. Majestic stared at his crotch as he asked, “Do you have proof?”

Ms. Majestic licked her lips and lit a cigar. Blowing circle rings of smoke she said, “Georgia‘s water shortage during the drought.”

Wiley fake laughed. He rubbed his crotch and then ran his finger as though an outline of the ring of smoke. The ring of smoke led his finger into Ms. Majestic’s hair. Running his hand through her hair he spoke in a rather condescending voice. “Oh yes. Where did the released water from Lake Lanier really flow? I‘ve heard other people mention the strangeness, but that is hardly proof of a secret city.”

Ms. Majestic feels irritated. Still, she imagines the young detective in front of her naked. “There are nearly five million people who live in the underground city. The government has them convinced they are dead and living under the rule of God in heaven.”

Wiley wonders if the woman sitting in front of him is as insane as she is beautiful. “The government has five million people convinced they are dead. And what about when they really die. What about when they give birth.”

Ms. Majestic wonders how a man who does not seem to believe her might protect her. She stands up. She puts her arm around his shoulder. She blows into Wiley‘s ear. “The sex organs of the kidnapped people are removed before they are taken to the city. They are implanted with a device that prevents aging. They are like frozen in time. They don’t change from when they are brought to the city. They don’t die.”

Wiley turns and he feels his lips meet the lips of this beautiful older woman. “And how do you know so much about this Secret City?”

“As Mayor, I managed to escape. Now the government is looking for me. They want to kill me.”

“So the people thought of you as the Mayor of Heaven?”

Ms. Majestic backs away from Wiley. “I should not have come here. You can’t help me.”

Wiley advances closer to Ms. Majestic. Wiley takes Ms. Majestic into his arms and he kisses her. He wishes he might be her Knight in Shining Armor. But as a gunman enters his cubicle he knows it is not to be. There is nothing he can do as he and Ms. Majestic are murdered. Murdered? Or maybe they are now living in the Secret City.
