Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced Monday that the Pentagon won’t buy additional F-22 jet fighters assembled in Marietta, a decision that could end the program in 2011.
While Obama promotes the religions of Islam overseas and plays diplomat to all the enemy nations of the United States, he sets to slap the Southern United States in the face every chance he gets.
In four years we will see how that works out for Obama.
Current orders would keep the Marietta assembly line open until late 2011. Gates recommended Monday that money authorized in a fiscal 2009 supplemental budget request for four additional F-22s go forward, bringing the total to 187.
Roughly 25,000 workers in Georgia, California and Texas supply parts and assemble the fighter.
