Man robbed at gunpoint in Hartsfield While Taking a Dump
Police report that a New York man was robbed at gun point, while sitting on the toilet, at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. (Atlanta Hartsfield Airport.) Brian McManus, 49, was waiting for a connecting flight to Gulfport, Miss., when unfortunately nature called. So he went to the restroom.
While McManus was seated in a stall, two men appeared “over the top of the stall” and demanded his wallet while pointing a silver handgun at him, a report said.
They took his wallet, which contained $300 in cash, and removed a shopping bag from a hook on the toilet stall’s door. The bag contained three inexpensive necklaces that McManus had bought at an airport gift store.
McManus was unaware that to get Airport Security Attention he needed to tap his foot loudly on the floor. Airport Security takes tapping ones foot on the floor a serious infraction of gay etiquette, a very rude request for anonymous sex, and a crime. On the other hand they consider armed robbery really no big deal and normal behavior for Atlanta.
