Some people were busting Obama's jaws over his making fun of his own bowling. He wasn't making fun of Special Needs children with any intent to make already stressed out parents angry. He was simply saying his bowling sucks though he has been improving.

I say, if there are any special needs children who can out bowl Obama, bring them on to show them off. But God, stop with all the polically correct bullshit and making people constantly having to apologize.

What is really hurtful to children is not a President saying he bowls like in the Special Olympics. What is hurtful toward children is adults who label children without knowing the first thing about the individual child. What hurts children who are having problems is when they are constantly reminded what they can't do, instead being allowed to enjoy what they can do.

It does not matter how you label children or compare yourself to children with problems, what is most hurtful is making a child feel bad about themselves. Now how would a President saying his bowling is such he would be beaten in the Special Olympics going to make a child feel bad.

"Hey, I beat the President's score."

The best I ever bowled was 178. I generally did not bowl good. I had to buy a book which gave me some pointers cause my bowling was really bad. When my bowling sucked people wanted to bowl with me. When my bowling improved no one wanted to bowl with me. What the fuck was that about??????

One of my better friends who I never bowled with. Now he once bowled a 300. Son of a bitch. No book could get me that good. :-) No way I could ever bowl a perfect game.
