"I appreciate greatly the Chinese government's continuing confidence in United States treasuries. I think that's a well-grounded confidence," Clinton told reporters at a joint news conference with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.

Yang said China wants its foreign exchange reserves — the world's largest at $1.95 trillion — invested safely, with good value and liquidity. He said future decisions on using them would be based on those principles, but added that China wanted to continue work with the U.S.

"I want to emphasize here that the facts speak louder than words. The fact is that China and the United States have conducted good cooperation, and we are ready to continue to talk with the U.S. side," Yang said.

You will hear nuts on the Finance Stations and in our Government talking about how we need Foreigners (who have taken over American production) buying America's T-Bills. The truth is, the money not going to the workers in those countries and creating a consumer class in those countries did three things:

a. left the world economy on the back of a shrinking American consumer/worker making less and less money and owing more and more money.

b. allowed the fucks at the Federal Reserve not to keep the national debt properly monetarized. If the Chinese had not been buying those T-Bills and sitting on them, the Fed would have had to buy them in balance with rising interest rates and that would have prevented the housing bubble.

c. caused a huge transfer of world wealth to under the "mattress" of the Chinese Government and eventually led to velocity of money dropping to around 2 or less. This crisis began with the end of the Chinese Olympics along with rising oil prices!!!

Americans need to understand that during the last 30 years we have been electing people who are largely brain dead to political office. They just passed an economic stimulous bill they didn't even bother to read. If this insanity doesn't stop, we are going the way of the old Soviet Union and we are going to drag China right along with us and they are going to be pissed!!!

If any politician uses the ignorant and treasonous word "free trade" which does not exist, don't elect them dog catcher. When a fuck defends NAFTA as "Free Trade" ask them, demand to know, how can any law that takes 900 pages of regulations be called "Free Trade." If the government was truly moving toward "Free Trade" laws would be being taken off the books. More laws would not be put on the books.

All these laws are to help giant corporations become even bigger and take over larger territories while disfranchising small businesses across the globe. This is not "Free Trade" but it is increasing economic centralism which in the long run does NOT work!!!

Start electing people to office who promise to bust these giant corporations up. While that will not create "Free Trade" it will create freer trade!!!
