Circuit City (CC) has seen its stock go from around $8 a share to around 17 cents a share (now 36 cents) is closing 155 stores. 17 of the closed stores will be in Metro Atlanta.

While people in Congress and in the White House have spent quite a bit of time pretending they are working to solve this economic crisis, in large part giving Bush and fellow magicians a shit load of money to perform a disappearing act with, Circuit City has not only not received any help, it is in fact not being given $80 million dollars that the government owes it.

On the auto front the Bush administration attempted to force GM and Chrysler to merge and then when GM agreed in exchange for bale out money, Congress and the Treasury said no as though it was the auto industry wanting to merge which was not the case. The entire thing was just a ploy to turn people against the auto industry.

I don't what the hell is wrong with the Bush administration and Congress. If they aren't going to help save American Industry, for God sake atleast don't shove the stake in the heart of American industry with insane games.
