It is an action comedy thriller where a vacationing woman meets her ideal man, leading to a swift marriage. Back at home, however, their idyllic life is upset when they discover their neighbors could be assassins who have been contracted to kill the couple. It is being directed by Robert Luketic.

This movie project has a great cast.

Robert Luketic has directed such films as Legally Blonde, Win A Date with Tad Hamilton, Monster-in-Law and other movies.

Lionsgate picked up the spec script from Bob DeRosa with Ashton Kutcher in mind to play a former hitman who has someone from his past to pay killers to well, you know, do what killers do. Kill him.

The current date set for release is June 4, 2010 but we all know how those release dates are.

Meanwhile Eric Calderon back in 2007 had a project by the same name that was to be an animated TV series by Studio Gonzo. It was about when the 5 best killers are hunted by the ultimate assassin. 3 die, two survive and one lives as the trailer says Forever. :-) As far as I know, not related projects in anyway, except I think the animated look of Knife does kind of favor Kutcher. Maybe not. I don't know.
